A little about me...
I have been tattooing for ten years, and
have loved every minute of it.
I have pierced professionally for
seven of those years as well.
I retired the piercing end of my
business to focus more on tattooing.
I have a seven year old son Aidan
who commandeers most of my time.
In between all of that I find time
to make digital art on my computer
via Photoshop, Corel Painter, and a Wacom tablet.
I have been practicing sleight of
hand magic for about 6 years.
I have been juggling since...I can't
remember. I learned to juggle
fire when I was fourteen years old
during breaktimes with my
co-worker's torches at my first
job...The golf driving range.
I have an intense passion to learn
about carnival history, sideshows,
conmen, and prestidigitators
(magicians)...etc......the list goes
on.
The rest of my life is spent
researching and training in various
martial arts including traditional
Jujitsu, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu
Jitsu techniques.
Residency...
Ryan can now be found
working out of
Wingnut Tattoo in St. Cloud, MN.
How can I help you?
Like most artists, I try to openly
educate, and direct my customers to
improve their tattoo ideas.
I've seen too many tattooists put
little effort into improving design
ideas there fore reciprocating the
same mundane artwork over and over.
I refuse to work that way. Let me know your idea, and let's
see what we can do!
Ryan's Approach...
I am always seeking inspiration from
all angles.
I try to adapt to
various styles of tattooing, while
integrating my own ideas as well.
Every artist is unique, and prefers
to approach each project
differently. I am very
honest with customers, and I
will not hesitate to refer another
tattoo artist for the job when I
know my talent in that particular
area is not going to shine as well.
I
feel that being successful in
business is not about the "Take the
money and run!" strategy.
What do I Charge?
If a project is going to take four
hours or less I usually price it by
the piece.
If
a project is going to run four hours
or longer I charge $130hr.

your artist*$*
Don’t you just love it when your
dinner party check has gratuity
included when they forgot to bring
you your side dish all night?
Me too! I put forth 110%
effort into each and every tattoo,
no matter how large or small the
piece. Although most of us make
tattooing look easy, it really is a highly skilled
craft.
"Who really deserves a good tip
anyways? Maybe the bartender that you had
to wave down that doesn’t know any
of your favorite cocktails, but can
serve you a beer while never taking
their eyes off the NASCAR race?
Or maybe the
flair bartender at an upscale
nightclub that just juggled three
bottles while dodging his bar backs, and
poured all of your drink orders at
one time while still managing to
toss in the garnishes before you
even got a chance to grab your
filthy cash?"
